Karla Robertson
Karla is “The Executive’s NeuroCoach” and thought- provoking speaker for
diverse audiences. Her reason for being a Coach?: “I believe in the audacious
power of the human mind to create better outcomes. In order to create better
outcomes, we need to make better decisions. In order to make better decisions,
we need to become better thinkers. I help people become better thinkers by
challenging the way they think and provoking new insights to creative action.”
During her 20+ year
corporate career, Karla was the #1 producer nationally for 6 consecutive years
at a leading national mortgage banking company. She also became a sales
executive for a healthcare company where she was #1 in sales and served as an
internal consultant to the executive team. She led the sales redesign effort
that placed this company back in the top 3 of their industry. Since founding her
own coaching business, Shifting Gears® Business Coaching & Consulting
in 1999, Karla has focused on helping executives become more masterful in their
thinking, behavior and decision-making.
Karla is a speaker at national conferences (rated a 4.93/5.00) as well as
smaller associations where her audiences consistently report of the powerful
impact she has in the moment and on the way they think going forward. She
creates and facilitates in-depth retreats which are designed to revitalize,
introspect, brainstorm and tackle current issues and opportunities.
Karla is a
Professional Certified Coach through the ICF (International Coach Federation),
holds a B.S. degree in psychology and marketing, is a Master MBTI®
Practitioner (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and qualified to
facilitate Lego® Serious Play™ workshops. Karla is an active
volunteer for The Make-A-Wish® Foundation of NJ and a past board
member of the New Jersey Professional Coaches Association.
